Official prom plans have finally been set. The prom committee has finalized the theme, venue, dinner menu and entertainment.

This year’s prom will take place at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium in DC. This venue hosted the Kennedy Center Honors after party last year, and has a stunning view of the monuments. However, the rest of the plans, including theme and entertainment, are meant to be surprises.

Both will be revealed closer to the event, though the rumor among students is that the band “We the Kings” will be attending. “We’re hoping for a really large turnout because we’re really proud of what we have accomplished,” said prom committee member Lauren Mensing. As prom hype escalates, the event promises to be truly spectacular.
