The Saxon Scope interviewed DJ Chris Styles to inquire about his upcoming gig at Langley’s prom.
1. How did your DJ career get started?
I started doing radio and DJ’ing during my senior year of high school at DeMatha Catholic High School.
2. How did the Langley students react to your music at lunch?
The students were a lot of fun. My company, Chris Styles DJ’s, has DJ’ed several events for/at Langley before. We always enjoy DJ‘ing events for Langley and the students are a lot of fun.
3. Are you looking forward to DJ’ing Langley’s prom?
I am really looking forward to the Langley Prom. Being able to DJ an event at The Fillmore will be a lot of fun. I am going to bring an “Ultra Music Festival” type DJ set with a lot of energy and excitement.
4. Do you enjoy DJ’ing?
I’ve enjoyed DJ’ing since the day I started and have not lost interest since my start. What’s great about DJ’ing is that every event/gig is different with a different crowd and different playlist. I enjoy seeing people’s reactions to my set and music selection. I can’t see myself doing anything else.
