Located in Herndon, the Lil Italian Café has a great homey atmosphere. The moment I walked in, I was hit with the smell of a combination of common and fancy foods.
Although it’s called Lil Italian Café, they serve a variety of dishes, not just Italian, including subs, pizzas, pastas, and salads. For my first time there, I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich that was made of white bread dripped in egg batter with thin slices of turkey and ham and mayonnaise in between. I really enjoyed it.
The service there was great, and everyone was really amiable. The server was still able to get our food to us rather quickly, even with all the customers. The restaurant was relatively clean, and nothing was too expensive. Overall, Lil’ Italian Café got two thumbs up, and I will definitely be going there again.
