The movie New Year’s Eve is a fun and entertaining movie that takes you through the stories of a several couples in New York on New Years Eve. The movie contains several separate stories, some of which are connected and some of which aren’t.

During one plot two strangers are stuck in an elevator and have to find ways to entertain themselves and make up for missing the whole day. In another story a young man helps a middle aged lady make all her new years resolutions come true by midnight. At the same time two expecting couples compete for a twenty five thousand dollar prize given to the person who gives birth to the first baby in the New Year. Another man tries desperately to get toNew York Citybymidnightto meet an amazing girl that he had met the year before on New Years Eve. These are just a few of the many adventures in the movie.

Although the movie was a little fast paced, it never dragged on or got too boring. This movie was funny and entertaining, but at the same time it was also touching and meaningful. It was nice that in addition to the humorous parts, the movie also portrayed New Year’s Eve as a time for fresh starts, forgiveness, hope, and more, which balanced out the movie. It wasn’t too lighthearted, but at the same time it wasn’t too cheesy or sad. The cast was also filled with many famous actors and singers, which made the movie even better.   

This movie is great for teenagers, young adults, and even some older people because the actors range from Disney Channel stars to older stars like Robert De Niro, making the cast appeal to a variety of age groups. The morals of the movie can also apply to all age groups, so the movie New Year’s Eve can be enjoyed by many people.
