Vegetarians, meat-lovers, dessert fanatics, all are welcome at Tyson Corner’s Coastal Flats restaurant. With their wide selection of salads, hamburgers, fish, and more, I find that everyone finds themselves satisfied walking out of the home-style restaurant.
As Coastal Flats is a seafood restaurant, and a cousin restaurant of the Sweetwater Tavern, there are numerous options to fulfill your under-the-sea cravings. However, there’s a large list of meats and burgers that you can choose from, with a side of their famous tangy and salty fries. For an appetizer, I highly recommend an extra-large order of ozzi rolls. Paired with the sweet butter, a perfect combination is made that sets the tone for the rest of the delicious meal.
The highest regarded foods on the menu include their seafood, hickory chicken, ribs, and beef. However if you’re not hungry enough to take on the meaty delights, a salad is a great alternative. They can come with pecans, mango chicken, hickory chicken, salmon, and tuna.
As you’re leaving, make sure you don’t skip the dessert. Although they do have multiple items on their menu, you should definitely get the chocolate waffle. With chocolate sauce, whipped cream, ice cream, and caramel, it will leave you content and wanting more from Coastal Flats.
