“Let it go, Let it go! Can’t hold it back anymore!” The seat filled theatre belts out the lyrics to the movie’s theme song, little kids laughing and jumping for joy as the beloved Queen Elsa appears on screen. All around, people of all ages light up with happiness as lyrics appear on the big screen, snow swirling around.
For nearly the past two months, people of all ages around the nation have been frenzying over the latest Disney film; Frozen. Not only was the film a spectacular one in 3D, it was even better as a sing along! The film focuses on the journey Princess Anna, along with a silly snowman named Olaf and a mostly grumpy mountain man, Kristoff (and his reindeer Sven!) undergoes to bring her sister, Queen Elsa, back home in order to lock the kingdom of Arendelle out of an eternal winter. The film itself was a flurry of laughter, music, and love- but with the incredibly chart-topping soundtrack, the sing along version had everyone on their feet.
I’ve always loved Disney movies, and after watching Frozen for the first time I was hooked. It was enthralling and adorable at the same time; with characters who made fans laugh out loud and a romance that made your heart stutter. Watching the sing along version however, was totally indescribable. It was so nice to be able to stand up and sing along without people shushing you, it was delightful seeing little kids dressed in princess gowns sing and dance. The songs were perfectly fit for the characters roles and they were often humorous, or just absolutely charming. I would definitely rate the sing along version of this wonderful film a 10/10, as it brought out the little kid in me. I recommend any fan of Disney to check it out while it’s still in theatres!
