This summer Marvel moved away from their mostly action-packed films and took a step in a different direction. While films such as The Avengers contain humor, Guardians of the Galaxy takes this to the next level. Supporting an interesting and original plotline with great acting, this film appeals to moviegoers of all interests, not just Marvel fans.

Marvel has had great success with their motion pictures in the past, but their movies have often focused mostly on one actor. However the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy have great chemistry together. Chris Pratt carries the film with his rough personality and interesting sense of humor. The plot line follows Starlord(Pratt) and his group of misfits as they try to protect their stolen orb from Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace). The movie moves at a fast pace, keeping the viewer interested and wondering what will happen next.

Guardians of the Galaxy continues the great line of Marvel movies that have been released in the last few years. While still remaining action-packed, it is unique in its emphasis on comedy and its focus on multiple characters.
