Every year, the Fashion 2 girls put on a completely student-run fashion show. “I choose the directors and they pretty much do everything else,” says Ms. Poythress.

The juniors in Fashion 2 are doing everything they can to keep the theme of the show a secret, even from the senior Fashion 3 girls.  “I’m surprised we’ve lasted this long,” said junior Jacqueline Pifer, one of the directors of the show. “Last year, the girls lasted two days before cracking.”

The class of seniors is not taking the deprivation of information well.  Pifer, laughing, went on to explain how the older girls have taken the Private Directing book hostage until they find out the theme.

“We’re planning on revealing the theme during the week of tryouts, Jan. 5,” said Pifer’s co-director, junior Alicia Underhill.

Rumored themes include Twilight, Fairy Tale, Cowboy, and Jungle, but Pifer and Underhill have neither confirmed nor denied that any of these are correct.
