The “game that will electrify the world” has arrived. Michael Jackson:The Experience is here. Almost a year and a half after the death of the King of Pop, “the ultimate dance experience” was released on Nov. 23 by Ubisoft for the Wii, Playstation, and Nintendo DS, and in early 2011 it will be released for the Xbox Kinect and Playstation Move.
In this game, fans step into the shoes of Michael Jackson, learning the renowned moves and dancing along to many of his top hits, such as Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, Thriller, Bad, Beat it, Black or White, and many more. For the Wii edition, players hold the Wii remote as they dance, allowing the sensor to pick up their movements and judge the accuracy of their moves. The more similar the players’ moves are to Jackson’s, the more points they receive. Those fans that preorded the Wii version can also enjoy the game while wearing a free special edition sparkly glove, one of Jackson’s many trademarks.
