The Langley Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony have been invited to play at the Avery Fisher Hall in the Lincoln Center this March. The Lincoln Center, located in New York is the world’s leading performing arts center; very few high schools been invited to play at the Lincoln Center, making Langley’s invitation to perform the opportunity of a lifetime.
The bus transportation is being provided by New World Tours. The band will depart from Langley at one p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 12. They’ll enjoy sightseeing and lunch in Times Square, the Billy Elliot Broadway show, a NY cruise, an NBC studio tour, along with other activities.
On Monday, Mar. 14 at 8:00 p.m., the band will take the stage in Avery Fisher Hall. Tickets now on sale at the Avery Fisher Box Office, and can be purchased by phone or email.
