The race is on for Langley student elections. Last night, candidates began creating events and groups to gain voters online. For this year’s elections, Facebook may play an even more significant role in comparison to years past as the voting will take place online, through students’ Blackboard accounts. The various election pages seem to be never-ending as users refresh their new feeds and acquired an excessive amount of event invitations.

“I think it’s a great way to get the word out that they’re running,” said sophomore Lauren Wilhelmy.
