After widespread debate over the ban on texting between teachers and students, the debate still remains up in the air and unsettled. Once again, the School Board has pushed aside voting on the cell phone ban until a later day in March, aggravating students and teachers. The proposal was originally given to the Board of Education in the fall. It was then moved to January, then to February, and now to Mar. 24. In the meantime, students and teachers are left wondering what will happen when they need to contact each other quickly outside of school.
