On Jan. 31, the Young Democrats and Young Libertarians debated the pros and cons of gun control. Seniors Jenna Smith, Mujtaba Wani and Greg Adams argued for the Democrats, while freshman David Fouladi and juniors Ben Parker and Matt Anderson argued for the Libertarians.  The Democrats argued that there should be more restrictions on gun control while the Libertarians believed that there should be less.

The debate was moderated by junior Democrat Jiho Kim. “The debate went pretty well, I was offered to moderate at the last minute so I took the job.”

After the debate, Parker commented, “Next time, I want an impartial moderator.”
