After months of preparation, research, and hard work, Langley’s 19th annual Case Day was a big success. Seniors debated the case Alford v Greene, involving the fourth amendment. The issue was whether law enforcement and child welfare officials need to have a warrant, court order, parental consent or exigent circumstances before conducting an interview in a public school with a child whom they reasonably suspect is being sexually abused.
