Jordan Burnham, a public speaker with Active Minds, an organization dedicated to change the conversation about mental health, addressed students gathered in the auditorium on Thursday.

Spinning a tale that many high school students can relate to, Burnham discussed his own struggles with depression and a suicide attempt that almost took his life.

Burnham will be speaking at McLean High School and Thomas Jefferson High School later this week.
