One of the spring sports teams, Boys Varsity Tennis, is looking forward to an exciting season of wins. The team, made up of two seniors, three juniors, and nine sophomores, is headed by coach Jack Porter.
Freshman Stavros Kontzias says, “Being a freshman on the team is cool, except I feel powerless against the upperclassmen.” Despite that, however, he says, “We’re pretty good and I think we’ll have a fun season.”
Senior Vincent Ning, one of the captains of the team, says that it will probably make it to states after a couple years of heart-breaking losses at the regional semi-finals. Overall, the team is incredibly excited for this upcoming season with their strong players and great potential to make it to the top.
