Friday, September 6th, is the first pep rally of the year at Langley. Returning students will be expecting the familiar booming spirit of the marching band as they parade through the halls before the pep rally begins.
For freshmen who have not experienced a pep rally at Langley before, there’s a lot to expect. “I’m excited for the atmosphere, since it’s my first pep rally,” said freshman Joanne Fu.
Students can expect the usual dance team performance and cheer performance as well as an introduction of this seasons sports team captains. However many students are eagerly anticipating an appearance from Langley’s mascot, Otto. “I’m excited to see Otto,” said Tiffani Najadifar. “He’s always so funny.”
Due to the pep rally there will be an altered schedule. There will be no Saxon Time and students will be released after seventh period.
