Amirah Ahmad, Alumni
Hi! My name is Amirah Ahmad and I’m the Editor-in-Chief of the award-winning Saxon Scope! I think it’s preposterous that I tell you who I am in this short little paragraph so I’ll just bombard you with some random facts about me. I’m the type of person who would get half white rice and half brown rice in my Chipotle burrito bowl. I love the Mongols, walnut pudding, and campfires. When I’m not running around doing journalistic things or homework, I watch Friends reruns while eating a bowl of kale chips. I’m sorry to whoever expected a genuine summary about myself that gives details about my interests, accomplishments, and plans for the future but who wants to know that? Anywho, I’ve spent four years on staff. I love our close-knit staff, our advisor (Ms. Mitro who is the bomb dot com) and every single issue that comes out. I spend more time in room 114 than I do in my own room. We all put an enormous amount of effort in updating the Saxon Scope website and producing our magazines. It makes our day when we hear teachers telling their students to put the Scopes away during class. But we all know you guys just secretly put them in your lap and read on. Write on. jLOVE!
