Attention Sports Fans,
The wild card weekend of the NFL Playoffs have concluded and the results are jaw dropping. Out of the 203 brackets that were collected as part of the 2013 Saxon Scope NFL Playoffs Brackets Challenge, only 10 remain.
There were many Redskins fans letting their spirits get in the way of their knowledge. The Redskins knew they had a tough road ahead on the way to the Super Bowl and it blew my mind how many people were still ignorant enough to pick them all the way.
The numbers showed that out of the 191 eliminated, 67 of them chose the Redskins to win it all and 111 chose them to beat the Seahawks. This single game forced me to throw away so many entries to a point where I was pulling out my own hair.
On the other side I collected eight administrative brackets and only one remains. Mr. Meier is the only administrator remaining and he feels very strong about his chances. “I’m very confident in my picks, and I can’t wait to bring home those prizes,” said Meier.
The competition is on! The other remaining students are Emily Flessas, Tyler Minishkin, Marshall Nimick, Weston Simonides, Nick Kartalian, Jordan Shklyar, Abdullah Jamil, Scott Rosner, and yours truly Cayhan Movaghari.
Come back next week and see who’s still alive on the path to a perfect bracket!
