Stress from school is frequent, extraneous, and excessive, so when spring break rolls around, students and faculty travel to many far off locations, to relax and explore.
From The Bahamas to Mississippi, for school or for relaxation, Langley students are everywhere
Aside from the annual trips to Spain, Japan, Germany, and Russia corresponding to their respective language courses, this year Mr. and Mrs. Herzig are traveling to Greece with their Junior and Senior Government and Psychology students.
This will be their fourth trip at Langley in eight years. “In the past we have gone to Acropolis, Pompay, and the Isle of Capri, this year we also plan on exploring in Athens,” said Mr. Herzig
Though apart from school trips, many students have other exciting travel plans, “I am going to Maine to go skiing,” said ninth grader Devin Bennett.
While many students are going on vacation for spring break, others have to fulfill sporting requirements instead, ninth grader Luis Perez said, “I have a soccer tournament in Virginia beach.”
Regardless of the destination, spring break proves a time for students to relax and enjoy themselves before finishing out the school year.
