Langley is known for being one of the only schools in FCPS to have Russian offered as a language, which is the second most taken language after Spanish. This past November, Russian 2, 3, and 4/AP students participated in the National Russian Essay Contest, a competition in which students must use a random given topic to write an essay.
Although the awards for this competition have just arrived, another similar competition is taking place on Friday March 21st. Langley students received a total of 32 medals: 9 Gold, 11 Silver, and 12 Bronze. The winners are as follows:
