During the school day on October 11, Fairfax County Police Department arrested Langley High School alumni and Instructional Assistant David Scalea after he was allegedly inappropriately touching himself in a classroom in front of students.

On Friday, a student reported to Langley’s Student Resource Officer that Scalea was behaving indecently behind his desk. Authorities subsequently arrested and charged him that same day.

The 40 year old is being charged with both Obscene Sexual Display and Contributing to the Delinquency of a minor. He is currently being detained at Fairfax County Detention Center.

Scalea is on administrative leave following the alleged incident, after serving as a substitute teacher and currently as an Instructional Assistant with Fairfax County Public Schools for several years.
